I don't know if someone really haves the answer to this familiar question. So, let's see...
The dream of my childhood it was a innocent cliché: be a singer, be a Rockstar (yes). Time later I reconsider my possibilities, and this aspiration was bury for a lot of reasons... But introduced me to the big world of the arts, one of the passions of my life.
Then, when I was 12 years-old, a nearby experience of the inefficiency and incompetence in the judicial system, motivated me to study Law, for the hope of arrange the problems from inside, but on having investigated more about this field of consciousness, I disillusioned me.
So, I started to think in something beyond the limits of the problems of our society. I understood that the human would be extremely small in the universe, and I begin to feel curiosity for that infinite world. In this way, I was interested in the astronomy.
Like that, over and over, for experiences or curiosities, I began to consider a lot of careers (sometimes very differents) like pedagogy, marketing engineering, musical interpretation, philosophy, psychiatry, social work, occupational therapy, and of course, psychology.
One day, I remember that I think "Every single person it's like a little world", and if you pass along the street and see more persons around you, it's like to see "little worlds walking in a big world", everyone with problems, relationships, thoughts, traumas, etcetera. In broad strokes, that's the way it was start to interesting me pychology.
Finally, this carrer was the only option at the moment to applying to university, basically because it was the thing that more liking me, although until now I don't have a clear idea of the kind of job I would like to have (I consider it's too quickly to think it).
Luckily, my experience at university at the moment has been good enough. I learn a lot of interesting things everyday, and I try to take advantage of every opportunity that pops up me.
